Avenged Sevenfold have been forced to cancel their upcoming summer tour with Prophets of Rage and Three Days Grace, due to an injury to lead singer M. Shadows vocal chords.

The band announced the tour cancelation on social media Friday, July 20th:

The tour was set to make a stop at DTE Energy Music Theatre on August 7th. Refunds will be made at point of purchase.

The band was touring in support of their latest album, The Stage. They’re expected to begin work on their next album in early 2019.
