Warner Bros. Pictures has released an extended trailer for Aquaman, starring Jason Mamoa.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman explores the origin story of the film’s title character. The film will also star Amber Heard, Willem Defoe, Patrick Wilson, and Nicole Kidman.

Aquaman will swim into theaters on December 21st.
