Apparently, singer Ivan Moody may be leaving Five Finger Death Punch after all.
If you’ll recall, Moody stated in an interview earlier this year that he’d be leaving Five Finger Death Punch to focus on another project. Just days later, though, the singer said his statement was misconstrued and he would not be leaving the band that made him famous.
Now comes a video from the band’s show in Tilburg, which you can see above. In the video, Moody states that the show will be his last one with Five Finger Death Punch.
According to FiveFingerDeathPunchNews.com, Moody didn’t even join the band on stage until the third song of the set and abruptly cut the show short after just 40 minutes. Fans waited for the band to return to the stage, but they never did.
It should be stated, however, that there isn’t much more to this video than Moody making that statement, so we don’t know if he’s actually saying that this show would be his last or not, but it wouldn’t be all that surprising.
Expect a statement from Five Finger Death Punch very soon.
