Thrash legends Slayer made a rare late night appearance recently, performing ‘Raining Blood’ on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
According to Loudwire, the band touted the ‘late night’ performance as the first of their career, which is strange considering they once performed on JImmy Kimmel Live!
Either way, the band took the stage following an introduction from Fallon, in which The Tonight Show host shouted ‘SLAAAAAAYER!’
The band was shrouded in red light, as one might expect from a band like Slayer. They tore through their classic ‘Raining Blood,’ much to the delight of Fallon himself, who came on stage following the performance to proclaim ‘That is how you do it!’
Slayer is currently on tour with Lamb of God.
