For the first time in years, there isn’t a single rock band headlining Coachella. In fact, there are very few ‘rock’ bands participating at all.
The lineup for Coachella 2018 was announced on Tuesday, January 2nd, and features headliners Eminem, Beyonce, and The Weeknd.
Scanning through the three-day lineup, which you can see below, you’ll notice that there aren’t a whole lot of bands that could be considered ‘rock.’ You’ll see names like A Perfect Circle and Highly Suspect, which, of course, are rock bands.
Another name you’ll see is Greta Van Fleet, a band from right here in the great state of Michigan. They’ll perform on Friday, alongside acts like The Weeknd, SZA, and Kygo, whoever the hell they are.
