Since Frankenmuth’s Greta Van Fleet burst onto the music scene in 2017, the comparisons to Led Zeppelin have followed. We know what the guys from Greta Van Fleet think about those comparisons, but what does the voice of Led Zeppelin think? Now, we know.
During a recent interview with Louisville radio station 91.1WFKP, Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant was asked about Greta Van Fleet and, more specifically, singer Josh Kiszka:
Is that the guy’s from Detroit? Yeh, he’s pretty good. There’s a job somewhere for him.
Sure, there’s not much there, but it seems that Plant is aware about what Kiszka and company are doing. You can hear Plant’s interview in its entirety in the video above.
Kiszka and the rest of Greta Van Fleet are currently back home in Michigan, working on their debut album. The band will head back out on the road in the coming months.
