The Detroit Tigers paid tribute to Justin Verlander Monday night, as the former Motor City pitcher returned to Comerica Park with his new team.
Verlander was visibly emotional as he watched the Tigers’ tribute to him, which played on the video board before the pitcher took the mound for the Houston Astros Monday night, September 10th.
Verlander repaid the Tigers by striking out ten batters in his appearance.
