A kid in Bend, Oregon was on the run from police when he found the perfect hiding spot: a garbage can.
In the video above, courtesy of Zach Pierce, you see the kid walk into frame and immediately jumps into the garbage can. Just a few moments later, a police officer walks into frame and it seems he’s looking for the kid.
Instead of checking the garbage can, the cop walks right by it and continues his search. Once the coast is clear, the suspect jumps out of the garbage can and continues on his merry way.
We should mention that the garbage can wasn’t empty, according to the video’s description on YouTube. It was actually filled with cat litter and soiled diapers. Oh, and it was 90 degrees the day this video was taken, which certainly didn’t help the stench.
My assumption is that this kid still ended up getting arrested, even though he was able to evade authorities for a little bit.
