For years, Michigan bands have asked how they could have their songs heard on The Rock Station Z93. Unfortunately, we never had the resources to properly launch a show that put the spotlight on Michigan bands, so it wasn’t something we were able to do.
Now, it is.
The Rock Station Z93 presents Michigan Made, a one-hour show every Sunday night at 8 p.m., sponsored by McDonald Ford in Freeland, that features artists born and raised right here in the great state of Michigan.
So, how do you get your music featured on Michigan Made? There are two things we need you to do before you submit your music:
1.) Make sure the music is professionally recorded. If the sound quality is terrible when you listen to it, it will sound terrible when people on the radio listen to it.
2.) Make sure that what you’re submitting is edited for radio. If the song has a bunch of F-bombs in it, we’re not going to play it.
Once you’ve done those TWO things, you can e-mail your song or a link to it here:
You can also send your music via snail mail to:
Z93 Michigan Made
1740 Champagne Drive North
Saginaw, MI 48603
NOTE: Just because you submit your music doesn’t mean it is guaranteed to make it on the show.
Our hope is to launch the show as soon as possible, but that is completely up to you. We need enough music to fill one hour, so start submitting and let’s get Michigan Made on the air!
