Metallica has announced that they will headline five different festivals in the United States in 2020!
A countdown at MetallicaXX.com and on the social media pages of all five festivals led many to believe that Metallica would be announcing their headlining slot once the countdown came to a close.
While it is true that Metallica will headline the five festivals, it’s not just any headlining spot. The band will headline two different nights and will play two completely different sets.
The band made the landmark announcement via a press conference from Metallica HQ, which you can see above.
The five festivals Metallica will headline in 2020 are Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville, Epicenter, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock.
