Walmart has announced that they will be hiring 150,000 seasonal employees across the country to help keep up with the demand related to the coronavirus outbreak.

According to Yahoo! Finance, the company will also offer $550 million in cash bonuses to employees who continue to show up and work every day while the virus has closed many other businesses.

A Walmart representative stated that they’re contacting employees from the restaurant and hospitality industries to offer them employment opportunities, because many are currently out of work.

Walmart will be hiring the new employees over the course of the next few months.
