Disney has released the first official trailer for Cruella starring Emma Stone and her performance is certainly reminiscent of one we’ve seen fairly recently.
The film, which also stars Emma Thompson, introduces us to 101 Dalmations villain Cruella DeVille early on in her life and Cruella definitely gives off some serious Joaquin Phoenix-style Joker vibes in the trailer. Maybe even some Harley Quinn, too. You can watch the trailer:
Cruella will arrive in May, though it has not been announced whether or not it will be in theaters or strictly a Disney+ release.
