Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine inch Nails are now Oscar winners. They teamed up with the music director for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Jon Batiste, to make the score to the movie Soul. They previously won a Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award for their score for Soul and as of last night, they can now add an Oscar to their trophy case. That’s not all though, while speaking with press after the Oscars ceremony Reznor talked about how he and Atticus Ross have balanced their scoring careers while also being in Nine Inch Nails. “We’ve just done three pretty big films with WatchmenMank and Soul in a row. We should be on tour but Covid has prevented that and we are planning on working on Nine Inch Nails material as soon as probably tomorrow.” Does this mean we will see new music or an upcoming tour from the band soon? Let’s hope so!
