Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced that Michigan will list all COVID-19 restrictions on June 22nd, which is more than one week before the previously announced date of July 1st.

According to The Hill, Whitmer announced in a press release that the declining COVID-19 positivity rates in the state and the amount of vaccinations administered contributed to her decision.

So, what does this mean? Well, as of Tuesday, June 22nd, all of the restrictions that have been put in place will be lifted. So, capacity limits at both indoor and outdoor gatherings are a thing of the past. If you can fit 1,000 people in your venue, you can sell 1,000 tickets.

Oh, and face masks? Those are done, too, whether you’re vaccinated or not.

Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! What are you going to do first?
