Founding Blink-182 member Mark Hoppus revealed on social media earlier this week that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

Hoppus took to Twitter to inform fans that he’s been receiving treatment for a few months:

Hoppus’ former bandmate, Tom DeLonge, took to Twitter to show his support for the Blink-182 bassist:

Hoppus formed Blink-182 with DeLonge and Scott Raynor back in 1992 in California. DeLonge departed the band in 2015, which left Hoppus as the lone original member.

The band’s latest album, Nine, was released in 2019.
