DiRito made the announcement on Instagram over the weekend. You can see his post below:

DiRito was a member of Pop Evil for nearly 15 years and made multiple stops in the Great Lakes Bay Region during his tenure with the band, including shows in Bay City at the State Theatre and Saginaw at the Dow Event Center and the Hamilton Street Pub, among others.

DiRito was also there when we surprised Freeland’s Powley Street Singers a couple of years ago:

We look forward to seeing what’s next for DiRito and who Pop Evil picks to fill his shoes (UPDATE: Joey Chicago from Devour The Day will play bass on the band’s upcoming shows). Pop Evil will perform at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in August with Shinedown and Theory of a Deadman.
