Dave Grohl Celebrates the First Night of Hanukkah With Metal Cover of Lisa Loeb’s ‘Stay’ [VIDEO]

Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin have brought back their popular Hanukkah Sessions for 2021 and they kicked it off this year with a metal cover of a 90s classic!

Grohl and Kurstin’s Hanukkah Sessions are the musicians’ way of celebrating the Jewish holiday. Each night of Hanukkah, the duo releases a cover of a song by a prominent Jewish artist.

Up first for 2021, it’s a cover of ‘Stay’ by Lisa Loeb, but it’s not just any cover. Grohl and Kurstin got heavy for a song that is anything but. You can hear the cover below:
