‘Die Hard’ Star Bruce Willis ‘Stepping Away’ From Acting Following Aphasia Diagnosis

Actor Bruce Willis is ‘stepping away’ from acting after he was diagnosed with aphasia.

The actor’s daughter made the announcement via her Instagram. You can read a statement from the family below:

As you can see in the statement, Willis was diagnosed with aphasia. According to Wikipedia, aphasia can be caused by a stroke or head trauma, among other things. You can learn more about aphasia HERE.

Willis has starred in countless films over the years, including all of the Die Hard films. While he is ‘stepping away’ from acting, he still has a handful of projects that will be released in the coming months, according to his IMDb page.
