The San Francisco Giants hosted their annual Metallica Night on Tuesday, May 24th, and, of course, Metallica was on hand for the celebration!
The Giants have been honoring their hometown metal heroes for nearly a decade, but this was the first time in a couple of years that the band has been able to be at the stadium for the celebration.
Every Metallica Night with the Giants features different Metallica-themed events during the game and members of the band even perform the national anthem, which you can watch below:
Maybe the Detroit Tigers could do an Eminem Night or a Kid Rock Night or a Jack White Night…? Just a thought.
