Grease star Olivia Newton-John has passed away at the age of 73.

According to TMZ, Newton-John’s husband announced that the star had passed away Monday morning, August 8th, surrounded by friends and family.

Aside from starring as Sandy in Grease, Newton-John also starred in the films Xanadu and Two of a Kind.

Newton-John was also a Grammy award-winning musician with five number one hits over the course of her storied career.
