Red Hot Chili Peppers were just one of a handful of performers at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which is still an awards show that happens every year (for some reason)!

Not only did the band perform, but they also won the VMA for Best Rock Video for ‘Black Summer’ and were the recipients of the Global Icon Award.
