As an album cycle comes to an end for Ghost, so, too, does the reign of the band’s current leader.
During Ghost’s recent concert in Sweden, Papa Emeritus III was taken off the stage, an indication that he would soon be replaced by a new ‘Papa.’
As one Papa leaves the stage, another, older Papa takes the stage, as you can see in the video above. He declares that he is ‘Papa Emeritus Zero’ and that a ‘new era’ is beginning.
According to recent interview, Ghost have already begun the process of recording their next album.
