The 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class was announced Wednesday, December 13th, and, if we’re being honest, there were two pretty big snubs.
Bands that will be inducted into the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame include The Cars, Dire Straits, The Moody Blues, and Bon Jovi, who won the fan vote. Bands that were not included in the 2018 class include Judas Priest, considered by many to be ‘metal gods,’ and Rage Against the Machine, who helped usher in the rap-rock genre in the early 1990’s.
According to Loudwire, Judas Priest were in the top five when it came to fan voting, but did not make the final cut. Other bands that did not make the cut included Radiohead, whose OK Computer album is considered by many to be one of the best albums of the 1990’s.
The 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place in Clevaland on April 14th.
