Green Day members Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt were joined by a couple of friends for a secret show in San Francisco last week.
The band, which also featured Green Day touring guitarist Jason White, called themselves The Coverups, according to Alternative Press.
The band played a 90-minute set that didn’t feature a single Green Day songs. Instead, they covered songs by Tom Petty, which you can see above, and Rick Springfield, which you can see below. Both videos are courtesy of YouTuber AdmiralNeeda.
Green Day’s most recent album, Revolution Radio, was released in 2016.
