Nine-year-old drummer Yokoma Soma got the surprise of a lifetime when her favorite drummer, Dave Grohl, sent her a special message.
Soma appeared on Ellen and played along with Foo Fighters’ ‘The Pretender,’ which you can see in the video above.
After the performance, host Ellen Degeneres surprised Soma with a video from Grohl, who states that he’s seen videos of her performances in the past and that he thinks she’s ‘amazing.’
Foo Fighters are set to headline this year’s Sonic Temple Arts and Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
