Pedro Severino hit two solo home runs, Matt Harvey tossed 6 1/3 scoreless innings and the Baltimore Orioles held off the host Detroit Tigers 4-3 on Friday.Ryan Mountcastle also homered for the Orioles in the second game of a four-game series.Harvey (6-10) scattered six hits and didn’t issue a walk while striking out five. He hasn’t allowed a run in his last three starts. Cole Sulser recorded his fourth save by getting the last three starts.Miguel Cabrera had two hits and an RBI for Detroit. Tarik Skubal gave up all four Baltimore runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings.Neither side had a baserunner until Severino led off the third with his blast to straightaway center field.The Tigers had a threat in the bottom of the inning. They put runners on the corners with two out but Jonathan Schoop was robbed of a hit by second baseman Pat Valaika.Mountcastle made it 2-0 with his one-out homer in the fourth. Cabrera smashed a one-out double in the bottom of the inning but was left stranded.Severino led off the fifth with his second homer of the game to left center. They had two more baserunners in the inning but Skubal escaped further damage on a double play.
